The Zululand Remedial Centre in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, caters to learners up to grade 7 with learning difficulties who need moderate levels of support and are unable to achieve their potential in a mainstream classroom.
Zululand Remedial Centre provides specialised education and therapy for learners with learning difficulties such as ADHD, autism, and challenges with reading, writing, listening, and perception. Our curriculum supports individual needs, while our on-site Occupational and Speech Therapy helps learners develop essential skills for communication, coordination, and daily functioning.
We offer a nurturing environment with integrated Speech and Occupational Therapy to help each learner reach their full potential.

Speech-language pathologists help learners improve communication and treat speech, language, swallowing, and voice disorders through prevention, assessment, and therapy.

Occupational Therapy help learners develop, improve, or restore their abilities through targeted activities that support self-care, play, and learning.
Zululand Remedial Centre offers inclusive education to support the holistic development of every learner through a specialised CAPS curriculum, specialised DCAPS curriculum, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and an introduction to skills development.
