Mozambique Spitting Cobra

Our woodwork teacher, Mr. Ferreira, who also happens to be a local snake catcher, recently captured a Mozambique Spitting Cobra in a residence in the Grantham Park area. He kindly brought the snake to school to enlighten the staff about snakes and specifically the hazards associated with spitting cobras. Mr. Ferreira demonstrated how these cobras spit and highlighted important signs to watch out for. We'll be sharing a short video clip showcasing his interaction with the snake to illustrate its various behaviours.
