SPCA Month

Zululand Remedial Centre (ZRC) proudly celebrated 15 years of donating to the Empangeni SPCA! This year, we were thrilled to receive an incredible 1.3-ton donation of Hill’s dog food from Hill’s.

To make the handover extra special, our learners enjoyed a fun-filled presentation. They took part in an interactive slideshow where they had to guess which pets belonged to their teachers, a game that brought plenty of laughter and excitement!

The highlight of the event was a playful skit featuring Mysti the Cop Dog on a thrilling mission. After "The Robber" stole the Hill’s dog food, Mysti had to track down the missing food. Along the way, she performed various tricks to "level up," solving clues and overcoming obstacles until she finally uncovered the full 1.3 tons of dog food, much to the excitement of the learners!

We were also honored to have Dr. Stefan de Bruin from Empangeni Vet join us. He was presented with a special thank-you certificate for his dedication to helping animals in need. Our SGB member, Kerry Mclean, officially handed over the donation, while our principal, Mr. Millin, expressed gratitude to both Hill’s and our learners for their continued support of the SPCA.

Here’s to many more years of making a difference for animals in our community! 🐾 #ZRC #SPCA #CommunitySupport #HillsPetFood
